KINNECT STUDIO

Kinnect Studio is a boutique training space where we offer both personal training and small group classes within a safe and comfortable environment.  At Kinnect, our focus is to support and encourage  our clients to learn, understand and “connect” to their bodies  allowing for more  efficiency whilst also having fun as we workout.  We combine different types of training, including (and not limited to) TRX, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Pilates, Weight Training and Stretching to ensure that our clients  train, strengthen and enjoy their bodies in every way possible.

At Kinnect we believe that “who we are” is a combination of the way we think,  how we feel  and how we WORK our physical bodies.  Most people intuitively understand that, the way we think and feel can deeply affect how we understand and use our bodies. Therefore we encourage people to take this one step further and explore how we can use our bodies, not just for exercise but also to impact how we think and feel as well.

ABOUT OUR TEAM

KIN HO

DIRECTOR

British born and educated, Kin spent most of his life in the UK before moving to Asia in 2006. 
 
After a successful corporate career in the UK and Hong Kong, Kin made a gradual transition to pursue his other passions in life. These were Life/ Executive Coaching and Group Fitness/ Wellness.
 
Kin has found enormous satisfaction in combining his Group and Personal Exercise training with his coaching work to make a real impact on his clients.

He continues to teach  a range of group classes at different gyms, wellness centres and corporate entities across Hong Kong as well as supporting private clients in a more private setting. His continual exploration and learning of the workings of body has led him to developing a passion for Pilates. Through Pilates, he has taken  this knowledge to a different level which in turn empowers and benefits an even wider spectrum of people in the community.

Kin is a massive believer in having fun and embracing life emphasising and instilling the importance of fun in exercise as a means of “de-stressing” and “wellness” in addition to keeping fit.

In a world full of stress and pressure, Kins clients trust his ability to “shake things up” a bit and help push them past their own comfort zone in a safe and positive way.

 

Kin is a Personal Trainer (NASM), Accredited Coach (ICF) and teaches Dance Fitness, TRX, Circuit Training, Bootcamp as well as Mat and Studio Pilates and GYROTONIC. As an Educator for Polestar Pilates, Kin also helps to train and develop upcoming instructors to becoming fully accredited pilates instructors.  He also has a passion and experience of working with older people and those with physical and learning disabilities as well as people coming out of rehab and looking to regain their body awareness and strength. He is also especially supportive to those that may find starting the fitness journey intimidating as he can combine both his coaching and training skills together to adapt any situation or requirement.

Here at Kinnect we also encourage “connecting” and networking with each other.
 
We have had the joy and honour of working with many different trainers, each with their own areas of specialism and training technique, but all sharing the belief that physical exercise can also help with the heart and mind.
 
Our trainers come from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Therefore if you have a special requirement (post natal, language, health, injury, training focus) please feel free to chat to us to see how we can help support and find the right trainer/ form of training for you.
